Correze - The Seasons.
Summer.
The summer, the time of long hot lazy days to be spent relaxing by the lake, or chewing the cud over a long Gallic
lunch. For the more active types indulge yourself in the long list of leisure activities available from paragliding to Fly
Fishing.
Autumn.
The changing shades as green turn to gold, heralding
the end of summer and the onset of the chestnut harvest.
This is one of the most spectacular seasons in the Correze, think New England in the fall.
Winter.
Snow is not unusual in the Correze and often settles for long periods. 
Enjoy log fires, vin chaud and days out to ski fields less than an hour for cross country and less than two
for Alpine resorts.
Spring.
The time of change, often noted for warm sunny days, yet punctuated by dramatic thunder storms. The
country comes alive, with the green fields giving way to yellow as the dandelions carpet the upland pastures.
